At Scotland The Bread, we aim to create opportunities for everyone to get involved in creating a better grain, flour and bread system.

Our fantastic group of volunteers support this goal by helping at monthly Bowhouse markets, working on our trial plot, lending a hand at breadmaking workshops or sharing their knowledge, skills and enthusiasm at the annual ‘Scottish Festival of Real Bread’.

On Monday 4th August we will be holding an open day for those interested in joining our volunteer team. This will be an opportunity to meet other Real Bread enthusiasts, to learn more about our work (including a tour of our innovative cyclone mill) and share your ideas for promoting a better bread system. Lunch will be provided and there will be the option to visit one of our wheat fields at the end of the day.
