These are ridged versions of the classic round ‘cob’ dough proving basket. They produce that distinctive ‘continental’ appearance without the problems of sticking from which cane baskets sometimes suffer.

This wood pulp proving basket will hold 500g of dough, allowing for expansion during proof.

Please note: these baskets are not an alternative to a baking tin.
