Bread for Good Community Benefit Society is currently looking to recruit a part-time Assistant Miller for an immediate start, based at our unit at The Bowhouse, Fife. Initially this will be for eight hours a week, potentially scaling up as output grows, assisting the Miller-manager in all areas of flour production and processing to ensure steady production and fulfilment of customer orders. Board of Trustees: Treasurer Do you have a few hours each month to volunteer with Scotland The Bread? Are you someone with a background in accounting or experience in financial oversight (in particular with Community Benefit Societies and/or Charities)?
Scotland the Bread is seeking a treasurer to join the Board of Directors. The Treasurer will be responsible for:
timely payments of invoices via online banking
oversight of Scotland The Bread/Bread For Good’s accounts (e.g. liaising with the Chair and Company Secretary to support monthly cashflow forecasting)
preparing the annual accounts, with Chair, bookkeeper & accountants
supporting the annual return to OSCR
reporting to HMRC on any payments of interests, dividends etc.
reporting on financial matters to our members.
